21C Museum Hotel Nashville Review

21C Nashville seamlessly blends art and hospitality. This modern property is a short walk from downtown attractions like Acme Feed and Seed, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, among others and offers its own free to the public contemporary art museum.

As you walk in, you notice its sleek look. My favorite part is the view of the first level of the museum through a glass in the lobby. It’s quite impressive!

I first heard about this boutique hotel through one of my good friends. He mentioned it is his favorite spot to stay in Nashville. He travels frequently and has been to Nashville several times, so I knew it had to be a great spot. I naturally was intrigued and added it to my list.

It’s an experience to walk through the hallways because there are so many interesting elements on your way to the elevator and room. I was not expecting the room hallways to be dark and have dimmed lights. I have to say it’s a unique concept that adds character to the hotel.

Another interesting aspect is that they have teal penguins sculptures throughout the property and also move them around frequently. So, it’s a surprise every time you see them. I couldn’t resist asking the reason behind the penguins. They embody the vibrancy and creativity of Nashville’s dynamic and diverse city. You can find other colored penguins at their locations throughout the United States.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I am a foodie person. In addition to attending a wedding in Nashville, we also did a foodie road trip in the southeast. I love southern food!

21C Nashville has a very delicious, chef-driven restaurant called Gray & Dudley. It’s a very hip restaurant offering comfort fare and drinks in a very artsy space. Hands down they have the best pimento cheese hamburger. It was SO good and highly recommended by the server. As I type this post, I’m salivating.

The hospitality was very welcoming. I love that you see staff members all over the property that engage in conversations with guests. They are quickly jumping to give you a tour of the three-story museum.

Next time you plan on visiting Nashville, stay at 21C Museum Hotel. I am certain you will enjoy its amenities and hospitality. Check out my IGTV for a tour.
