Eyelash Extensions, a Travel Hack

When traveling I am constantly trying to figure out travel hacks and how to minimize what I pack. Recently I’ve been experimenting with eyelash extensions and realized this should be on every woman’s radar. It can be a costly hack, but it saves you so much time and space. I love getting up in the morning and hitting the roads as soon as possible. Isn’t that the reason why we travel? We want to explore. Therefore, spending hours in the bathroom getting ready is not where I want to be.

Since Charlie and I started our month long travel it hit me how quick I’ve been getting ready. It’s the best! I honestly haven’t been wearing makeup. My makeup has always been very minimal, but lately all I do is wear lipstick and that’s it. No blush, powder, foundation – nothing. You wake up looking refreshed already, which is amazing.

I’ve been getting my eyelashes done at Amazing Lash Studio. They are a franchise, so it might be in your city too. In my case, I visit the studio located in South Tampa. This space is very clean and the staff is friendly. Always a bonus! I like that they have multiple eyelash styles for the client to choose from. Thankfully I had researched beforehand which style works best for my eyes. I would’ve liked to hear the stylist’s recommendation. I’m all about the customized experience, but that’s just me. Haha. When I see options I always want to know what works best for me. “Cute” was the style I chose. This style consists of the center being longer than the corners. It really opens up my eyes!

Overall, the experience is easy peasy. It’s good to find a place that you trust and can relax. I seriously fall asleep at every session. I find it soothing for some reason. If you are considering getting eyelash extensions, give it a try! You don’t have to have a vacay coming up to try it. Your everyday makeup routine will shrink. Trust me here! It does not hurt, but the process takes about two hours. Open up your calendar and schedule a session. If you decide to go for it, please tag me or let me know. Once you do it, I think you are hooked forever, which is a problem. Haha. Oh well!

Have you guys tried eyelash extensions? What do you think? If you agree that it’s one of the best travel hacks, let me know below.
