Novotel Monte Carlo Review

My stay was sponsored by Novotel Monte Carlo. As usual, all opinions are my own.

Visiting Monaco was a dream come true. I’ve always been intrigued by the novelty and beauty of this place. To think Monaco can fit inside Central Park is just insane. It might be the second smallest country in the world, but it is sure big when it comes to luxury.

While in Monaco I had the pleasure of staying at Novotel Monte Carlo, a mid-range hotel in the heart of the Principality. It’s an oasis meeting you at the center of professional and personal stay. Whether you are in town for business reasons or leisure, they are able to accommodate you perfectly with their amenities.

When I travel I am typically mixing both aspects [work and leisure], so this hotel met all my needs. They mentioned their team is working on opening a new co-working space, which will allow guests to block appointments or meetings for a daily fee ranging between 20€ – 30€. I think this a great added perk.

I enjoyed my stay here as I had time to lounge by the pool, get some work done and also eat at their beautiful restaurant, Azzurra Bar. You don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to eat at the restaurant/bar. If you are taking a festive break, more of relaxed vacation, you can order one of their detox juices. Of course, if you are into living it up at night, they have some original cocktail options too.

As you walk in you are greeted by the azure blue. The decor gives you all the French Riviera resort vibes and it’s definitely super calming.

There are occasions while traveling that we are on-the-go. It was a pleasant surprise to see a food truck outside the main doors of the hotel. They sell some refreshments, including focaccia, tasty bowls such as Caesar or Veggie.

Besides the amenities and the welcoming staff, my favorite part of my stay was the proximity of the hotel to all major attractions. In the immediate vicinity are the casino, opera house, marine thermal baths, Monte-Carlo Metropole shopping center and the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit. You are truly in the heart of it all. It makes it convenient to have easy access to your surroundings. You honestly can probably walk the whole country on foot in an hour. It’s that small but very dense with tons of breathtaking views.

My hotel view was incredible, by the way.

I couldn’t count the number of times I was just in awe and saying “Oh My God.” It’s definitely a change of scenery from the U.S. Every corner is a picture-perfect resemblance of luxury. No wonder the rich and famous vacation here!

If you want to feel like a high roller, but not necessarily break the bank, these are the options for you. I highly recommend staying at Novotel Monte Carlo. You can experience the high life like a Monaguesque without returning home with sums of debt. Trust me, this guide is for you, and of course, for me too.
