Worries are useless! They are a mind game and a trap. Your mind is always going to worry about something. It’s always going to fear.
As we grow up we are wondering about our future. Are we going to be successful? Am I going to land with my dream job?
When I was a little girl, I always said that I wanted to be a supermodel and an actress. This is good because we have aspirations, but we can’t confuse aspirations with worries. Once we start focusing only on our future, we forget to live the moment.
This is me! I usually spend plenty of time thinking about things that most of the times don’t even happen. Yeah it’s crazy! I forget to live the moment that’s right in front of me. Each moment has to be cherished. We need to let life flow its own course.
We want to be in control of everything, but control is an allusion. For that reason, during these situations, we need to:
Yes, inhale and exhale. Acknowledge your thoughts and breathe. Don’t let worries change your mood or influence your decisions. Remember the decisions you make now will determine your future.
I love to smile! I smile a lot. I even smile at strangers as an entertainment. You should do it too.
3. Dream big, but work hard today
There is no better moment to accomplish your goals than right now. Planning is motivating, but we can’t live in the future. All we have is this moment right now.
4. Do one thing at a time
Today is all about multitasking, but we need to do things one step at a time. Don’t rush, take it slow!
5. Spread the love
Do something nice for someone every day. As simple as holding the door for somebody, it doesn’t matter, this will impulse you to pay attention to your surroundings.
Remember time is valuable and worries are time consuming. Stop worrying and start living!
